The Location:

After we decided about the ideas and the props and costumes list was done, we than moved into thinking about where should we film the scene. We two really good ideas about the location for the scene. Our first one was to film in the hall (where the assembly’s are being held) this is because, because of the chairs it has, which come down form half way up, behind them is a really good warehouse atmosphere because of the steel which held’s the chairs up. This atmosphere was what I had in mind for this scene because it can show as the place is private, where perfect business deals get done, far away from everybody’s eye sight. However this place has a downfall, as because underneath the chairs the light was very weak which was suitable for the scene but the camera couldn’t see anything.

The second idea which rose in my mind was to film this scene in one of the drama studios, this is because the rooms are suitable for this kind of performing because of the lights and special coloured spotlights. This could be used for the scene perfectly providing it with the special effects of being dark outside showing a hiding place. However the downfall for this location was that the teacher which had the key was not in so we decided to chose the above location it had a disadvantage.
